Reflections: A Poetic Journey of Thoughts from the Heart

It all began on that October day
The waters stilled,
The leaves refused to sway,
Clocks stopped upon the wall,
A beating heart forever quiet,
A tired body put to rest,
Hearts broken - left behind.

An onward journey I must take,
For I stilled lived and I still breathed.
The fight is on, the climb is high,
I shall reach the summit by-and by . . .


Journey with me through the days of still waters, experience the joy as I travel to Alaska and view the
lofty mountain top of Mt. McKinley and onward as I encounter thrills and heartaches before finding love
once more in the land of sagebrush and sand in Southeastern of Colorado.
